Let Go and Let God
03/14/2010
On the cross Jesus prayed, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Boy was he right. Frequently even people who are trying to do the right thing do not really know what they are doing. The result is hurt and conflict galore. Why do we so often get it wrong? Because we WANT something—so much so that we proceed even without seeking God. It a sure recipe for disaster.
Lk 23:13-34; Jn 11:38ff; Pr 14:12; Jas 4:1-3; 1John 5:14-15; Pr 3:5-6
