How Bad Will It Hurt?

The moment you fall off a cliff you know you are in trouble. You know its going to hurt, but you don't know how bad. Will you break your wrist or your neck? You won't know until you hit the bottom. That's the way it is with sin. Once we fall into it, there is no way of knowing what the outcome will be. Will it prick our conscience or wreck our life? We can't know until it plays out. That's why its so vital that we keep our distance from sin.
