God vs Santa Claus

As children many people believed in Santa Claus. However, as time passed and Santa failed to deliver some began to question his reality. Many people follow the same trajectory with God. However, both Santa and God have to be accepted or rejected not on the basis of our disappointments or feelings, but on the basis of objective evidence. And on this point, the evidence isn't even close. God is real and we deny him at our peril.
