Attack vs Surrender

We learn at a fairly young age that hard work pays. Indeed, many of us learn to virtually attack work, doing as much as we can as fast as we can in order to get recognition, raises, and promotions. The problem is that this sometimes carries over into our Christian life. We set up a Christian to-do list and dig in. But are to-do lists and human effort really the keys to spiritual life?
