prayer

Eph 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

What is prayer?

Prayer is the way we communicate with our Heavenly Father. Although events in our lives may at times seem confusing, overwhelming, or even terrifying, the Bible assures us that God cares and that he hears us when we pray (1John 5:14). At Cowboy Church, we believe in the power of prayer and employ two different teams to offer intercessory prayer for you or your loved ones: a PUBLIC prayer team and a PRIVATE prayer team.

What's the difference?

Our PUBLIC prayer team is made up of the general membership of the church. Anyone who would like to pray for the needs of their fellow church members may join this team and receive our public prayer list via e-mail.
Our PRIVATE prayer team is made up of church leaders and other carefully screened individuals that can be entrusted to keep your prayer request confidential.

Submitting a Prayer Request

Prayer requests can be submitted by filling out a yellow prayer request form and dropping it in one of the wooden church houses located near the back exits of the worship center. These forms may be found on the old buckboard wagon also located at the back of the worship center. Prayer requests can also be submitted by contacting the church office at 972-935-9801 or by filling out our online prayer request form by clicking HERE. Be sure to indicate whether your request is PUBLIC or PRIVATE.

Personal Prayer

In addition to the prayer request form, we offer the opportunity for you to be prayed for personally by one of our pastors or lay pastors after each service. These men generally wear white shirts with a blue cowboy church emblem on them. One or more of them can usually be found at the back of the church before or after each service. They count it a privilege to counsel or pray with you.
